VMOS

The mission of VMOS is to close inmates' internal and external value gaps, thereby reducing recidivism and meaningfully increasing their internal intrinsic value and value to society.

Reduce first time offenses. Reduce recidivism. Reunify families.

VMOS is a comprehensive system that has proven successful in the rehabilitation and reformation of inmates. It is an integrated, holistic programming system designed to help inmates produce positive outcomes for themselves, their families, and their communities, by transforming their minds and behaviors. VMOS helps inmates become Valued Members of Society (VMOS) by replacing old paradigms with new paradigms. VMOS is based on the core belief that a human's perception of their intrinsic value is directly correlated to their behavior and value to society.

There are three pillars of sustainable change:

  • A healthy, supportive community.
  • High-quality programming.
  • Sufficient time.

The range of what we think and do

is limited by what we fail to notice.

And because we fail to notice

that we fail to notice

there is little we can do

to change

until we notice

how failing to notice

shapes our thoughts and deeds.
